Configuring WINE with Winecfg - LinuxConfig.org

Many programs work under WINE with absolutely no configuration. The second WINE is installed, it can flawlessly run them. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case, and applications are constantly being updated, so the list of flawless applications is always changing.

  1. Desktop Integration - you just won’t?
Presumably because it doesn’t really work. I’ve tried it, and it looks kind of nice - but stupid stuff doesn’t work. I have an app that I package with wineskins to run on the macintosh. Runs great. But the app has owner-drawn buttons, and with a desktop theme enabled, the buttons don’t get told to draw until you click on them. Works fine without a theme. I’d love to be able to enable a theme, but can’t until this gets fixed.
