The objective is to install and enable Adobe flash web browser player in Firefox browser on Ubuntu 20.04 Focal Fossa Linux.

although I followed the orders up to step3, I can not see the “run adobe flash” icon but a “refresh” one that ends me to dead end. What should I do?

Welcome to our forums.
Flash player is an end of life product, and Adobe is blocking the content since January 12, 2021. It is advised to remove all instances of flash player from any and all of your browsers.
