I want to buy a new Soundcard for digitalising my records. A few months ago i buyed a Terratec DMX 6Fire USB but it doesn’t work correctly. When i load the module manually it works only on the console. In Alsa mixer it’s only a mono soundcard with one in / output. Does anyone know a High End soundcard witch works on Linux? I prefer an USB device to reduce eventually noise of the other hardware in PC housing. Mayby works the Pro-Ject Phono Box DS2 USB? But i don’t want to buy it whithout to know that it works. Ubuntu 18.04 bionic, kernel 5.4.0-58
