The i386 package installation…is that only for x86 Ubuntu OS or x64 as well?

though installation of the deb files might actually work, the correct procedure (especially for multi GPU systems), is to go into terminal, do init 3, and sudo ./ the nvidia driver .run files.

Well I got to say thanks again because I’ve used this method three times now. Basically every time Ubuntu updates the NVIDIA drivers subsequently crash and I have to do it again… perhaps it’s time for an AMD graphics card. Any suggestions for one under $100 at supports 4K?
