How to make a bootable USB from an ISO in Linux - Linux Tutorials - Learn Linux Configuration

The purpose of this tutorial is to make a bootable USB drive from an ISO file. USB drives have recently overtaken CDs and DVDs as the primary media of physically distributed software. You said “a bootable” , I had another external usb disk with a lot of stuff on it. and the gnome-multi-writer did list up both , and this tool was so simple and I was afraid going further before I unmounted the external usb harddisk. My guess is that the multiwriter makes bootable disk of all the listed simultaneously? - I dont know, but I did not have the courage to check it out :slight_smile:
