My root user is “aname” and it showed the passwrd to be reset for “root” how can i make it do for my id ?

If your user is not named root, make sure to write passwd <your_username> in order to change the password.

Thanks, it 's work.
My config is Ubunut 14.04 but my grub’s version is higher than your example.
To boot, Ctrl+x doesn’t work but F10 did.
