hello i am new to ubuntu, m trying to install gui on ubuntu server 18.01in the terminal, i typed “sudo apt install lubuntu-core” and keeps on saying unable to locate package lububuntu core, i tried for a number of GUIs but keeps on saying the same, what could the problem or what m i missing?

Welcome to our forums.
There is a “lubuntu-core” package for recent Ubuntu releases, so try something like the following:
$ sudo apt-get install lubuntu-core
If your installation can’t find packages this way, there may be problems with your repositories settings, or maybe name resolution. Are you able to install any other package, let’s say, mc?
