MX Linux download - LinuxConfig.org

MX Linux is based on Debian's "stable" branch. It's a conjoined effort between the antiX and now-defunct MEPIS Linux distro communities. For other most popular Linux distributions, please visit our dedicated Linux download page.

If you want Ubuntu without the bloat, then get Ubuntu without the bloat. Ubuntu Mate fits that nicely. Traditional desktop too, yet still an official Ubuntu flavor. The community develops the Distro, so it lacks Ubuntu’s bloat and spying.

A very nice OS. I’ve tried many from Zenwalk, Mepis, Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Fedora , Mint (my daily tool box) but I’m seriously impressed by MX Linux, firstly because it came with much of my preferred software already installed, and also because it’s available in 32 bit format; the latest 21.2.1 distro runs perfectly on an old Acer Travelmate 4050 with 2 Gb ram.
