Autoinstall Ubuntu desktop

Hello,
I followed your instructions on this website

The suggested way to pass the configuration to the Ubuntu installer when installing the Desktop version of Ubuntu, is to use the url of the configuration file.

I install ubuntu from a bootable key.
And I’d like to call my autoinstall configuration file on my usb key during ubuntu installation, instead of using a file url.
Is this possible?
Can you please help me?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hello, I’ve done some testing and it seems that the simplest solution is to repackage the Ubuntu ISO and insert autoinstall.yaml file with your desired configuration. It is actually relatively simple process. I have now published for you to see the entire process: How to Repackage an Ubuntu ISO Image for Autoinstall Using YAML

Please note that I have used the latest Ubuntu 24.04 here. Once you have the custom UBuntu image with your autoinstall.yaml configuration than simply create bootable USB as per you standard procedure.
