Config chroot jail for ssh users

I am trying to config a secure enviroment for my users to logon to ssh but not get into each others files.
I follow this procedure to create a chroot enviroment in a jail.

www.cyberciti.biz/faq/debian-ubuntu-restricting-ssh-user-session-to-a-directory-chrooted-jail/

Looks like everything i did is according to procedure except my users allready existed before the procedure was executed on my linux debian 8.11 system.
When my users logon they get kicked out wright away.
Anybody any idea why they can not connect?

Kind Regards
Gerard

Hi Gerard,
did you get any relevant error message on auth.log or in another log file inside /var/log?

Thank you.
