There are several ways to install NVIDIA drivers on Manjaro 21 Linux, but one common method is to use the Manjaro Hardware Detection (MHWD) tool. Here are the steps to install NVIDIA drivers using MHWD:

  1. Open a terminal window and type “sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300” to install the NVIDIA driver.

  2. After the installation is complete, reboot your system.

  3. Verify that the NVIDIA driver is working by typing “nvidia-smi” in the terminal.

  4. If you want to switch back to the open-source driver, type “sudo mhwd -r pci nonfree 0300” in the terminal.

Note: before you install the driver, ensure that your system is up to date.

You can also use GUI tools such as “Pamac” or “Octopi” to install NVIDIA drivers.
