These instructions are for Ubuntu 18.04 and will fail on 18.10 with the error “The repository does not have a Release file.”

These instructions are for upgrade from Ubuntu 18.04 -> 18.10. Please provide more information regarding this error.

It worked for me on Ubuntu 18.10 without any extra effort.
18.10 release codename is cosmic, not bionic. So that needs to be changed in the directions.
