Hi, I am new to Ubuntu, relatively, I used it in place of Windows for the last 3 years as my main PC and use it just like a windows PC.
Tried to install samba from a variety of sites with different instructions. I nearly gave up, until I found this site.
I installed samba from the instructions given and it worked without problems. I put this down to the excellent clearly written guide, with explanations given for the steps.
