Whenever I type
./configure
i get this error message:
./configure line 1633: config.log: Permission denied
./configure: line 1643: config.log: Permission denied
how should I make it work

Welcome to our forums.
Since this seems to be a permission issue, what distribution do you use, and what user you run configure with?
I start with >>sudo chmod 777 on the config.log. If that desn’t work then login as SU-root. Obviously your not the admin?
